The freezing weather has returned with a vengeance. Oh I know it's nothing like the weather they are having in the UK, but at least UK houses are heated!
I was sitting in my living room this morning and the INDOOR temp was just 5C.
Has everyone seen this piccie? It's taken by NASA and is absolutely fantastic IMO.
To those from outer space who didn't know, Britain is having its worst winter weather for 50 years.
Snow again today and yesterday on the lower hills around Relleu. I did email NASA for a photograph but am still awaiting a reply.

Storm
What a day it was yesterday!
Snow, sleet, high winds, freezing! At one stage I saw a garden shade umbrella flying through the air like something out of 'Mary Poppins'. It came from around about Campo Rosso and landed somewhere at the back of the little rocky outcrop that sits in front of Muscaret.
Power was on and off all day, then went off completely about 6pm, and didn't come back on until 11pm.
Phone lines went down, all the mobile signals went down (including Orange, so I lost my internet, and it didn't come back on until 6pm this evening).
Woke up today to see the surrounding hills white-ish, but I've never seen lying snow to low before here! I've no satellite TV; don't know if the winds have moved the dish, or whether rainwater penetrated the box (we've got a leak above the TV).
Went down to LaCala today; signs of wind damage all the way. Lost roof tiles, trees damaged, telegraph poles squinty, but what a beautiful day it was today, after the carnage yesterday.
